Title Bed, Flatware, Louis Seelbach (Seelbach Hotel)
Description Silver painted walking stick with a four-poster bed on the top. There is a man sleeping in the bed with blankets pulled up one-half of the way with his arms and hands on top of the blanket. Extending from under the middle of the bed frame is a wooden cylinder. Extending from the cylinder is a black rectangular box with a spoon on the front side, a fork on the right side and a knife on the left side. Under the black box is a man wearing a bow tie and coat. Extending down from there on the shaft of the walking stick in bas relief is written "Louis Seelbach."
Provenance Used to create the molds on the tree guards representing the Seelbach Hotel at 600 West Main Street in Louisville, Kentucky.
