Title Portrait Bust (John C. Bucklin, Merchant and First Mayor)
Description Wooden carved walking stick with scalloped cuts from base extending up to approximately 4.5" from the top where a carved bust of a man with a full head of hair wearing an ascot and lapeled coat. Twelve inches from the base of the stick the artist's initials are carved into the wood along with the date of "93". Six inches from the top of the stick is carved "1828."
Provenance Used to create the molds on the tree guards representing John C. Bucklin at 624 West Main Street in Louisville, Kentucky.
