Title Bird and Brushes (John J. Audubon Residence)
Description Wooden walking stick painted white with a series of dots on each of the four sides in a reddish hue. Stick is squared but undulates from right to left by as much as an inch. At approximately 7.5" from the top there is a green perch on a red base that forms the tail of a bird. Atop the perch is a white bird with orange feet and a yellow beak. The eyes of the bird are made of small dowels painted white.
Provenance Used to create the molds on the tree guards representing John J. Audubon residence at 720 West Main Street in Louisville, Kentucky.
